SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT & DESIGN DataSoft
Medical have over 10 years experience of software design,
development and implementation and have developed a wide range of applications.
From the writing of the specification to the testing of the system we
are committed to excellence.
By constantly updating our development tools we ensure that the applications
that we write make use of the latest technology available.
We are a small team, yet we have designed and implemented systems for
a number of major organisations including British Rail, Honda UK, KPMG,
BHS, Sony and World Vision.
We have experience in the following applications:
- Windows applications, Unix, SQL Server
- Financial: expenses, asset management
- Medical: diagnostic systems, patient tracking systems
- Document management
- Distribution
Since 1998 we have been involved in the development of the British Association
of Dermatologists' Diagnostic Index Browser, a database application and
browser which incorporates the British Association of Dermalotolgists'
Index and Coding System. We have further developed the BAD browser software
into an ActiveX control which allows the BAD Index codes to be incorporated
into other database applications such as patient tracking, hospital records
or photographic libraries. At the same time the BAD codes themselves have
been developed into an International Coding System (known as the International
Dermatology Diagnostic Classification or IDDC).
Our latest product is the Image Library Manager, a medical
image management system which allows tagging of digital images to IDDC
diagnostic codes and enables consultants to mark and reference image sets
eg for lecture purposes.
